Many people do not even know what it is all about or better still, they have not heard about it before. What is Intellectual Property? Intellectual Property could be defined as a legal field that refers to the creations of the mind, inventions, literary and artistic works, symbols,names, images, and designs, used for commercial purposes.
There are two types of Intellectual Property; Unregistered Intellectual Property and Registered Intellectual Property.
Unregistered Intellectual Properties are trade secrets, client database, and know-how while Registered Intellectual Properties are copyright, patents, trademarks, registered designs and domain names,among others.
However, a lot of things that we seem not to know are Intellectual Properties, waiting to be exploited.
