We are hiring Technical Consultant - Associate - Analyst  (Multiple vacancies)

Work Profile

As a Technical Consultant - Associate - Analyst, you will contribute your scientific training and expertise to advise the Supervising Attorneys on cases relating to Intellectual Property prosecution, transaction issues and Litigation for clients. Your responsibilities will include reviewing technical, scientific documents and identifying key issues relating to the legal matters at issue while accomplishing these and other critical functions:
 

  • Providing technical support for preparation and prosecuting patent applications in India, USPTO and EPO.

  • Distilling complex scientific concepts and explaining them in terms understandable to non-scientists such as attorneys, judges and juries.

  • Assisting in preparation for depositions and trial, preparing technical witnesses for their testimony as well as developing exhibits for trial.

  • Interacting with attorneys, paralegals, clients, experts, inventors and scientists.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Fresher and experienced both can apply.

  • An advanced degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering  or related field is required.

  • Outstanding writing and analytical skills, and top academic credentials are essential and be able to work well with lawyers, other professionals and staff within the firm.

  • Capable of handling independent correspondence with client, associate and IP Office and Courts.

  • Should have strong verbal and written communication skills, should be willing to work independent as well as in a team.

  • Knowledge of Windows, Ms Office, Internet & Email - Must

  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Flexibility and willingness to work on a wide variety of matters

Terms and conditions

  • Candidates will be required to sign a contract for a minimum period of three years
